| CULTIVATION |
|
The propagation is done by sowing the seeds in boxes at an altitude of 1000-3000 Meters. The seedlings are transplanted in open field at a distance of about 1 Meter and the plant starts bearing capsular fruits within one year of vegetative growth. The drug is collected when capsules are yellowish-brown in color and seeds are not fully ripe. The capsules after collection are dried in the shade where the seeds ripen and can be collected easily from open capsule. |
