| CULTIVATION |
|
The side branches are cut with circular incisions linked by longitudinal cuts, then the bark is peeled off. The flowering time is late spring to early summer and the harvesting time is mid-spring to early summer. It can be dried in the sun but can only be used medicinally after it has been stored for a year. The drug has a putrid smell and a bitter, repulsive taste.
