Bursitis is inflammation of a bursa. A bursa is a tiny fluid-filled sac that acts as a gliding surface and reduces the friction between tissues of the body which move in different direction. There are 160 bursa in all in the body. The major bursae are located adjacent to the tendons near the large joints, such as the shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees. When this bursa gets inflamed, it loses its gliding capacity and causes pain when the muscles move.
Causes of Bursitis:
Repetitive movements or prolonged and excessive pressure: People who rest on their elbow for a long period or who bend their elbow frequently may develop elbow bursitis.
Traumatic injury: Trauma results in widening of the blood vessels. This allows proteins and extra cellular fluid into the bursae and the bursae react against these “foreign” substances by becoming swollen.
A direct blow can cause blood to leak into the bursa. This rapid collection usually causes marked pain and swelling, most often in the knee.
People with certain diseases such as gout, rheumatoid arthritis, or scleroder may develop bursitis from crystal deposits. Uric acid is a normal byproduct of daily metabolism. People who have gout are unable to properly break down the uric acid, which crystallizes and deposits in joints which forms a cause for bursitis.
Bursa close to the surface of the skin are the most likely to get infected with bacteria; this is called septic bursitis. These bursitis-causing bacteria are normally found on the skin. People with diabetes or alcoholism and those undergoing steroid treatments or with certain kidney conditions have higher risks for this type of bursitis. About 85% of septic bursitis occurs in men.
Prevention against Bursitis:
Protect that part of the body that may be most vulnerable.
Take breaks if you have to do repetitive tasks.
Before doing any exercise do warming up.
Strengthen the muscles around the joints.
Do not stress the joint with particularly heavy or unbalanced loads
Cushion the joint when possible. Use knee pads when kneeling and other pads on shoulders when carrying loads on them.
Avoid side loading the joint. In other words keep the motion of the limbs in line with each other.
Stay healthy and fit. Maintain a healthy weight. Strong bodies are more resilient against the stressors that cause bursitis.
Home Treatment for Bursitis:
Rest the affected area.
Apply ice on the affected area. This helps in increasing the blood circulation and reduces the swelling.
Use non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs to decrease the swelling and manage pain.
Soak two tea spoon of grated potato in water for overnight. Filter and drink the liquid empty stomach in the morning. Continue this process for about a week. The inflammation will be reduced.
Continuous application of hot and cold compression alternatively helps in getting relief from bursitis.
Herbal Treatment for Bursitis:
Turmeric acts as an anti-inflammatory & antioxidant, both help in bursitis relief.
Aswagandha helps in reducing inflammation.
Apply sandalwood paste made by mixing sandalwood powder and water, on the affected area. This will help in reliving the pain.
Rub warm olive oil on the affected area. This will reduce the swelling.
Add one tablespoon of cayenne pepper in a cup of apple cider vinegar and boil the mixture for about 15 minutes. Applying this mixture on the affected area. This will reduce the pain.
Applying tea tree oil or sesame oil is also effective in controlling and reducing the inflammation.
Emu oil contains high level of linolenic acid. This acid is said to have good effect on bursitis as it works on muscle and joint pains. The linolenic acid is said to be having anti-inflammatory effect which penetrates into the skin and provides the relief.
Polycystic ovary syndrome is a common health problem that can affect teenage girls and women. Although no one really knows what causes PCOS, it seems to be related to an imbalance in a girl’s hormones.
Polycystic ovary syndrome is a condition in which there is an imbalance of a woman’s female sex hormones. It is a common complex hormonal disorder, affecting up to ten percent of women (reproductive age) worldwide. This hormone imbalance may cause changes in the menstrual cycle, skin changes, small cysts in the ovaries, trouble getting pregnant, and other problems.
Female sex hormones include estrogen and progesterone, as well as hormones called androgens. Androgens, often called “male hormones,” are also present in women, but in different amounts.
These hormones help to regulate the normal development of eggs in the ovaries during each menstrual cycle. In cases of Polycystic ovary syndrome, too much of androgens are produced which interfere with egg development and release.
Follicles are sacs within the ovaries that contain eggs. Normally, one or more eggs are released during each menstrual cycle. This is called ovulation. In polycystic ovary syndrome, the eggs in these follicles do not mature and are not released from the ovaries. Instead, they can form very small cysts in the ovary. Because girls with PCOS are not ovulating or releasing an egg each month, it’s common for them to have irregular or missed periods.
If it is left untreated it may lead to hypertension, kidney problems, type II diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and heart disease.
Signs and symptoms:
• very heavy periods or irregular periods
• obesity
• acne and clogged pores
• high blood pressure
• high cholesterol
• diabetes mellitus
• headaches
• mood swings
• Excess of hair growth on face, breast, chest
Treatment:
• Control weight
• Birth control pills will help to regularize the menstural cycle.
• Anti-androgen medications, such as spironolactone and flutamide is also advisable.
• Exercise.”Exercise works by reducing a problem that underlies PCOS: insulin resistance, which can make the ovaries produce excess male hormones, making it harder to conceive,” says Professor Helena Teede, an endocrinologist and research director at the Jean Hailes Foundation for Women’s Health.
• Exposure to light – Go outside in bright daylight for longer than usual each day to help balance harmones.
Herbal Treatment to POS:
• Tulsi: Consuming 10-12 leaves daily with an empty stomach will help to moderate insulin levels and provide stress relief.
• Pradrantak Churna is particularly effective herbal remedy for ovarian cysts. It’s also useful in painful menstruation, pre menstrual syndrome (PMS), irregular menses, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts and leucorrhoea
• False unicorn root contains plant oestrogens that may help to counteract a high oestrogen level without suppressing ovulation.
Cancer that forms in tissues of the breast, usually in the ducts (tubes that carry milk to the nipple) and lobules (glands that make milk is called as Breast cancer. It occurs in both men and women, although male breast cancer is rare. According to the statistical data, 230,480 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in USA only. This speaks of the volume of persons affected by breast cancer. If we talk about the world, every 10th women is said to be affected by breast cancer.
Even though the causes for breast cancer are not determined fully some factors which are responsible for its occurrence are listed below:I
• Age-The chances of getting breast cancer is directly proportional to the age. Greater the age, higher is the chances for getting the disease.
• Genes: BRCA1 and BRCA2, The presence of these 2 genes in the body increases the chances of disease.
• Personal factors: Early starting of menstrual cycle and late menopause lead to breast cancer. If menstrual cycle commences before the age of 12 and does not stop even after 55 years of age, is considered to be the cause for breast cancer.
• Obesity: Being overweight is also considered to be a cause for breast cancer.
• Undergoing hormone replacement therapy
• Regular use of birth control pills
Symptoms:
• Lump in the breast
• Change in the shape of the breast
• Discharge from the nipple
• Unusual swelling in a part or the entire breast
• Continuous skin irritation in the breast
• Continuous pain in the breast
• Inversion of the nipple
• Lump in underarm area
Prevention of Breast Cancer:
Though prevention of cancer seems to be ridiculous, we can achieve this by making some positive changes in our life style.
• Maintaining a healthy body weight
• Regular exercise
• Avoiding the use of anti biotic
• Consuming organic food which is free from pesticides
• Avoid alcoholic drinks.
• Keep a low fat diet
• Give your child the benefit of breast feeding
• Have children at earlier age, at least in mid twenties.
Herbal remedies for Breast cancer:
Herbal remedies are not a cure to breast cancer but is useful for decreasing its bad aspects to an extent. It is always better to consult a medical practioneer if you are detected with breast cancer
• Garlic: It has anti biotic properties that help it to get rid of fungi, bacteria. It also plays role in activating the immune cells against cancerous cells. It is always better to eat garlic in raw form as oil, clove or powder instead of consuming cooked.
• Wheat grass: Wheatgrass taken in the form of juice or raw is shown to slow down the growth of cancer cells.
• Green Tea: Herbal green tea has anti-inflammatory properties is very effective to control the growth of breast cancer sells.
• Soybean: According to MD Anderson Cancer Center, it contains phytoestrogens and several other entities that block cancerous cells from using estrogen. It can be taken as sprout or cooked vegetable.

Brown spots, also known as age spots, dark spots, sun spots, liver spots or lentigines. Lentigos are concentrations of melanin trigged by unprotected exposure to the sun over a long period of time. These brown spots are also called “hyper pigmentation” – patches of the skin that become darker in color than the normal surrounding skin. Hyper Pigmentation can be shortly defined as increase in the natural color of the skin. It occurs usually when an excess of melanin forms deposits in the skin.
Brown Spots are one of the five main signs of aging from the sun. Most of the aging skin is caused not by the passage of time and chronological aging, but from the sun. The brown spots are also because of sun exposure. The five signs of skin aging caused by the sun are brown spots, wrinkles, enlarged pores, sagging skin and spider veins.
What Are Brown Spots?
They are black, grey or brown spots and patches that appear on the skin especially on your hands, arms and face, and other places that have been exposed to the sun a lot. They are usually harmless growths and there is no need to get rid of them for other than aesthetic reasons.
If however, you start noticing that your spots become dark, multi-colored or start to bleed, you should contact your dermatologist or doctor.
What Causes Brown Spots?
The biggest cause of age spots is sun exposure, as it increases the amount of melanin in the skin. When there is enough of this pigment in the skin it accumulates at the surface and forms spots of darker skin.
Age also causes brown spots. As you get older often the amount of melanin is increased and more spots appear as they pass mid age.
Genetics is also one of the causes of age spots. Heredity pretty much dictates your predisposition to getting these unsightly blemishes. Usually, those with fairer skin are more prone to age spots
They can also be caused by things like oils and chemicals in skin care products and the UV lights in tanning booths.
It may also be caused due to liver infection
They are also caused by a combination of sun damage and a decline in the hormones that regulate the production of melanin. Prolonged sun exposure causes the skin cells to produce more melanin and cause surface pigment changes. Melanin is a pigment that gives color to the skin and hair. It helps protect the skin from the harmful sun’s rays but increased amount of melanin pigment often result in formation of dark, brown spots.
How to Get Rid of Brown Spots?
1. Laser Theraphy:It is the simplest and easiest way to remove these spots. A laser generates and intense beam of light. The emitted light is absorbed by oxyhemoglobin-bright red blood cells carrying oxygen and melanin causing decomposition or destruction by heat of unwanted cells while leaving healthy cells intact.Treatment with the laser is more comfortable and requires less recovery time.
2. Chemical Theraphy: A chemical peel is a safe and effective form of treatment for many pigmentation problems. Here an acid is used to remove the surface of damaged skin with light peeling. The chemical peel will lighten the brown spots and even out the irregularities to give skin its natural color.
Some natural treatment to Brown spots:
Use sunscreen lotions whenever you go out in the sun to prevent brown spots.
Prepare an infusion of chopped parsley. Add two tea spoon of lime juice which is a natural bleaching agent and will help to fade the brown spots.Apply the mixture on the spots regularly.
Grate an onion and squeeze it through cheese cloth so that you have 1teaspoon of onion juice. Mix it with 2 teaspoons of vinegar and massage the brown spots with this liquid. Apply it regularly till the spot vanishes.
Make a paste of honey and turmeric powder. Apply it on the spots. It will get lightened and finally vanish away.
Rub fresh Aloe Vera juice on the spot for about 2 months. The spot will slowly fade away.

Trauma to salivary glands
This dry mouth syndrome may lead to
tooth decay
infection
gum disease
Speech impediments
germ buildup
bad breath
Symptoms of Dry Mouth:
A dry, red, raw tongue
A dry feeling in the throat
Difficulty in speaking, tasting, chewing, and swallowing
Feeling Thirsty
Impaired taste perception
Some of the simple ways through which you can avoid being affected by dry mouth are:

Herbal and home remedies to Dry Mouth:
Chew food thoroughly so as to stimulate saliva production and facilitate digestion of food.
Applying Glycerin to the tongue
Add tea spoon of honey to a glass of milk and drink it.
Avoid being with out food for a long time
Avoid being with out food for a long time because that is the time when saliva is reduced and mouth feels dry
Applying Red Chilli Pepper on the tongue will stimulate the production of saliva as it is rich in capsaicin.
Increasing the intake of vitamin “B” rich food like meat, brown rice, fish, wheat germ and whole grain cereals.
Increasing the intake of iron rich food like red meats, liver, cashews and figs.
Genatin extract is a good remedy to dry mouth, but it should be taken after consulting a specialists.
Chinese green tea, chamomile and ginger are also considered to be effective treatment to dry mouth.
Echinacea contains a compound echinacein which is a proven saliva producer. Echinacea stimulates salivation, and tends to numb the mouth, but this effect is temporary and harmless.
Are our cell phones safe? This has been a subject matter of great discussion, in the scientific circles, for over a decade now. Experts all over the globe have voraciously argued in and against the notion of a cell phone as a potential hazard to our health.
The recent report released by the World Health Organization (WHO) on 31st May 2011 has classified cell phone radiations as possibly carcinogenic to humans. The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has also categorically categorized cell phones in the list of Group 2B (This class denotes the items, things or metals that are possibly carcinogenic). These research findings are sure to raise many eyebrows.
Cell phones have been found to emit low levels of radiofrequency, while been used. Cell phone radiations fall into the same bandwidth of radio frequencies as the radiations coming from a microwave. But some notable researchers have maintained that unlike a microwave, a cell phone do not release enough energy to damage or alter the structure of a Human DNA.
However, recent research findings suggest that although short term exposure is harmless, long term cell phone use can have serious repercussions. It is a proven fact that people who have been avidly using cell phones for the past 10 years or so are at a much higher risk of developing brain tumors. Use of an earpiece, while talking is highly advisable.
Various reasons have been given to support the fact that continuous mobile usage is the harbinger of a possible brain cancer. The most notable one is that cell phone usage excites the brain. Glucose is the main propelling fuel that keeps our brain running. The radiations coming out from the cell phone considerably affects the metabolism of glucose. This results in the production of unenviable radicals which severely affects the functioning of our brain. The exposure of children’s to cell phones, before and after birth has been cited as a reason behind the prevalence of psychological disorders nowadays.
The multifarious evidences posed so far are not conclusive. But they are surely indicative of a possible connection between cell phone and brain tumor. More better and advanced research is needed to bring forth the conclusive health hazards associated with cell phone usage, if there are any.
It is always better to be late than never. So here what we can do is to limit our cell phone using hours, as much as we can.
Mouth ulcers are the most common disease which people suffer from, very often. These appear as the painful sore with white core either on tongue or inner side of lips and cheek. In Medical terms it is known as “apthous ulcers”. Generally 2-5 ulcers appear at a time and the condition is so painful that it makes eating, drinking, and even talking very difficult. But due to very fast healing ability of our mouth they subside in 10-12 days only to reappear again in next 3-4 weeks. These ulcers are very painful as they expose the nerve of mouth which gets irritated even on slight movement. Appearance of ulcers mostly start in childhood or teenage and continues till late 40’s.
Causes of mouth ulcers:
Injury: – ulcers can occur due to accidental chewing of tongue or cheek biting. Drinking too hot tea, coffee or water is also responsible for mouth ulcerations. Trauma to inner side of mouth during brushing also causes ulcers. Irritation due to ill fitting dentures, newly placed braces can also cause ulcerations.
Stomach upset: – constipation is most common factor known for mouth ulcerations.
Stress: – it is second most common cause for ulcerations. It is mostly hormone related. Certain hormones are released in our body during stressful period which cause ulcers in mouth. Inadequate sleep is also one of the reasons for ulcers.
Heredity: – in many children it is inherited. It can due to certain genes which are responsible for ulcers.
Deficiencies: – iron, vitamin, zinc deficiencies are also blamed for mouth ulcers.
Hormonal variations: – in women ulcers are mostly associated with onset of menstrual cycle when hormones level change in their body.
Medical problem: – certain viral and bacterial infections are also associated with mouth ulcers like AIDS, syphilis.
Tips to get relief from pain:
Apply gels available with doctor’s n the ulcers twice or thrice daily. These gels contain pain relievers and steroids which relieve the pain ” Cold water rinses also give relief from pain.
Some rinses are also available which decrease the pain intensity when swished in the mouth.
Pain killers like paracetamol, brufen can also be taken. These tablets are also available in chewable form which is more effective for ulcers as they directly act on nerve endings exposed due to ulcers.
Usually these ulcers disappear with use of gels and medicine, if they don’t doctor should be consulted for other medical problems. Ulcer is the primary stage of cancer so it should not be neglected if persists for long time.
Herbal remedies for mouth ulcers:
Mix the skin of a lemon with white catechu. Grind them into a very well paste. Apply this straightly on the ulcer. The ulcer will subside approximately immediately. This remedy is best Home Remedy for Mouth Ulcers.
Take two to three leaves of the guava tree and a number of catechu. Chew them together. This will heal even the most persistent of ulcers within a few days. This is also good Home Remedy for Mouth Ulcers ” The bark of the banyan tree decreases the pain caused by mouth ulcers.
Fenugreek leaves assists in the treatment of mouth ulcers. A mixture of these leaves is used for gargling. Fenugreek is a strong mediator on the ulcers. Hence it is used as a medicine for recurrent ulcers.

Kattha is an extract of the Acacia catechu plant, known normally in the west as the catechu plant. It has an extraordinary place in Ayurvedic medicine in oral treatment. It is used in many forms for the treatment of ulcers.
Turmeric is also a cooling agent as this helps in relieving mouth ulcers. It is mixed in water and the suspension can be used for gargling for mouth ulcers treatment. It can also be applied as gel on ulcers when mixed with glycerine.
Chew on 5-6 tulsi (holy basil leaves) and sip some water. Repeat 5-6 times a day.
Eating raw tomatoes helps rid mouth ulcers. You can also gargle with tomato juice 3-4 times a day.
To a lay man “Piles” is a condition when one starts to bleed along with the bowel movement. In medical terms the doctors define it as “Piles are abnormally enlarged and dilated blood vessels (mainly veins) around the back passage or anus.”
There are two types of piles generally found. They are internal and external. As the name suggests internal piles occur inside the anal and is the cause for bleeding while the external piles are found in the external part of anus and can be felt. Though the external piles are painful they do not bleed. If you suffer from external piles you may find problem in sitting.
Symptoms:
Constipation
Exerting pressure during bowel movements
Obesity
Causes:
Though the main cause for piles is chronic constipation there are many other causes which lead to Piles.
Wrong diet habits also lead to Piles. The increased intake of bread, colas and junk food has an adverse effect on the bowel movement and lead to Piles.
Lack of fresh fruits, vegetables and salad in our daily food hardens our stool leading to constipation and finally to Piles.
Lack of physical exercise, long working hours, sitting on computers for a long time have an adverse effect on the bowel movement.
Stress over a long period of time may affect your regular bowel movement and there by leading to piles.
The weight of the fetus and the increased blood flow may be one of the reasons for the development of piles.
It may also be due to hereditary.
Cure:
The only cure to Piles is to have a regular bowel movement. If constipation can be avoided, stools pass easily and there is no need to put pressure on the blood vessels in the anal area.
Herbal and Natural Cure to Piles:
2 gm of powdered mango seeds (dry) with or without honey twice daily for a year will get rid of piles.
Eating black berry with salt every morning (during its season) every year will cure one from piles.
Three teaspoon juice of fresh bitter gourd leaf mixed with a glass of buttermilk taken empty stomach is a cure to piles. A paste of root of bitter gourd can also be applied over the affected area.
Half a table spoon of the mixture of fresh ginger juice, lemon juice, fresh mint juice and honey (all in equal quantity) is an effective medicine for piles.
Eat plenty of fiber-rich foods such as fruits, especially papayas and figs, vegetables and wholegrain cereals will help to keep the stool soft.
Intake of plenty of fluids, especially water helps to keep bowel movements soft.
Cardiovascular disease (CVD), principally heart disease and stroke, is the world’s leading killer for both men and women among all racial and ethnic groups. It is the cause for 42% of deaths in America.
Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) includes dysfunctional conditions of the heart, arteries, and veins that supply oxygen to vital life-sustaining areas of the body like the brain, the heart itself, and other vital organs.
Some of the diseases which come under cardio vascular disease are Ischemic Heart Disease: It is caused due to the deposit of excessive fat and there by narrowing the veins that supply oxygenated blood to the heart. It will also lead to less supply of oxygen supply to the brain and ultimately lead to a stroke.
Congestive heart failure: This is caused due to the extra effort the heart has to take to circulate the blood due to the deposit of excess fat. Even though the heart works harder different parts of the body do not receive the required amount of blood due to the blockages created by the deposits of fat. The causes for CHF are Kidney disorders, obesity, diabetes, birth control pills, pregnancy, smoking, excess alcohol, stress, and thyroid and adrenal gland problems.
Coronary heart disease:: It happens when our arteries narrower or even get completely blocked. The causes for it may be the deposition of calcium, cholesterol, fat and dead cells on the walls of arteries. When the coronary arteries are narrowed the supply of oxygen-rich blood is reduced to the heart muscle. This may result in damage or death of a part of heart muscle. Data results state that coronary heart disease is the cause of about 60% of all deaths associated with cardiovascular disease.
Atherosclerosis: In general terms it is the hardening of the arteries. It is caused by the formation of multiple plaques within the arteries. It is the direct result of the deposition of cholesterol in the walls of the arteries.
Cerebrovascular disease: It refers to a problem with the circulation of blood in the blood vessels of the brain.
Peripheral vascular disease affects the circulation primarily in the legs]. Patients with this disease typically complain of pain in their calves especially when walking.
Rheumatic heart disease: This disease begins with a bacterial infection in childhood, affecting joints and heart valves. The heart problems appear many years later. Often the valves have to be replaced by an operation.
Congenital heart disease: It refers to a condition where there is a problem with the structure of the heart right from the birth. These defects may be as simple as a hole in the walls of the heart to a complex situation like affecting the flow of the blood. . Some congenital heart problems result in death unless immediately corrected by surgical intervention. Others cause disability to varying degrees and are treated by surgery later in life with correction of the problem sometimes requiring more than a single operation.
Heart Failure: This occurs when the pumping action of the heart cannot provide enough blood to the rest of the body as it is needed. This can happen as a result of damage to the heart muscle or from excessive consumption of alcohol, or because of a heart muscle disease also called a cardiomyopathy Prevention to the Cardio Vascular Disease: Heart disease may be the leading cause of death for both men and women, it is still avoidable. . Although you cannot change the family history or age but you can surely take steps so that it is avoided. Given below are some of them:
· Don’t smoke or use tobacco products: Smoking or using other tobacco products is one of the most significant risk factors for developing heart disease.
* Regular Exercise: Regular physical exercise will reduce the risk of fatal heart attack. Physical activity helps you control your weight and can reduce your chances of developing other conditions that may put a strain on your heart, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes. It also reduces stress, which may also be a factor in heart disease.
* Eat a Healthy Diet: Your diet should be low in fat, cholesterol and salt but should be full of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and low-fat dairy products that can help protect your heart.
Herbal Remedies for Cardiovascular Disease:
Ginger: It helps in lowering cholesterol and inhibits blood platelet collection.
Garlic: Garlic is a wonder drug for heart. It reduces the cholesterol levels, prevent blood clots, and destroy plaque.
Aswagandha: It is a unique herb with anti-stress adaptogenic action that leads to better physical fitness and helps cope with life’s daily stress.
Tumeric: It lowers blood cholesterol levels by stimulating the production of bile. It also prevents the formation of dangerous blood clots that can lead to heart attack.
Alfalfa :Alfalfa leaves and sprouts help reduce the blood cholesterol levels and plaque deposits on artery walls.
Lemon: Daily use of lemon also prevents the accumulation of cholesterol in the blood vessels.
Having any of these regularly will help you prevent the cardio vascular attack.
Bronchitis is an acute inflammation of the air passages within the lungs. It occurs when the windpipe and the large and small airways within the lungs become inflamed because of infection or other causes.
Causes: Bronchitis may be caused by a virus, bacteria, smoking or the inhalation of chemical pollutants or dust. Generally the air passages become clogged by debris and irritation increases. In response, a heavy secretion of mucus develops, which causes the characteristic cough of bronchitis. Bronchitis begins as a mild upper respiratory infection. Over a period of 2 – 3 days, it can develop into increasing respiratory distress with wheezing and a “tight” wheezy cough.
The viruses which are the cause of common cold are the causes for bronchitis too! It usually starts as a sore throat, runny nose or sinus infection, then spreads to your airways. It can cause a lingering dry cough, but it usually goes away on its own.
Bronchitis is seasonal and appears more often in the fall and winter months. It is a very common reason for infants to be hospitalized during winter and early spring. It is estimated that by their first year, more than half of all infants have been exposed to RSV.
How does it spread?
The virus is transmitted from person to person by direct contact with nasal fluids, or by airborne droplets. It can spread by direct or indirect contact. Although RSV generally causes only mild symptoms in an adult, it can cause severe illness in an infant.
Signs and Symptoms of Bronchitis:
High fever
Difficulty in breathing
A deep chest cough
Hoarseness and pain in the chest.
Bluish skin due to lack of oxygen
Cough, wheezing, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing.
Intercostals retractions.
Nasal flaring in infants.
Rapid breathing.
Fatigue.
Back and muscle pain.
Herbal and home remedies to Bronchitis:
Make a mixture of dried ginger powder, pepper and long pepper taken in equal quantities. Take a quarter teaspoon of the mixture three times a day with honey. It is very effective.
Consumption of half a tea spoon of onion juice, empty stomach in the morning has been used for centuries as to cure and prevention to bronchitis.
